In our strive to learn more about our customers and obtain feedback about our product, we learned the following:
- We were able to identify our main consumers as orthopedic and plastic surgeons, as well as general hospitals, as they would be the ones buying and using our product.
- In our interviews with surgeons, we found that they would rather have the product made at a central facility and sent to them, rather than having their own personal printer system on site.
Once we knew these facts, we set about finding out our market size. We came up with the following numbers of customers, plus potential business earnings per year (USA only):
- Orthopedic = 28,047 ($2.1 billion)
- Cosmetic = 2600 ($1.5 billion)
- General Hospitals = 5686 (Can range from 1 billion to 11 billion per hospital)
- Insurance Companies = 35 (1 billion per company)
